| Description: | Antigua, old, the intended colonial capital of Spanish America, destroyed over and over and over by surrounding volcanoes and the way they make the earth shake, and tall buildings crumble. Colonial churches litter the blocks...I have only uploaded photos of a few. A walk down the street, I stumble upon a massive procession for a local saint, tubas blowing through and carry the night. |
