Quiroga to Morelia

My socks, purchased near Leucadia, are finally finished and now lye at the bottom of a pemex trash bin. A little unceremonious, I know, for a pair of socks who have treated me so well. Shoes are getting close to their end as well. Still have almost 200 miles to Mexico City.
Olaf, a german Physics prof at University of Mexico branch in Morelia...a devout Catholic as well...he asks me after a long discussion on theology, well then, why arent you Catholic. I said I am catholic in the widest sense. The cross of Caravaca all over the town of Morelia.
Inside a museum in Morelia, I find an interesting piece....though pre-columbian, note the bird descending onto a cross-like scepter.

Description: Again, I am not sure the pictures do this town justice. One the one hand, the city center reminds you of many you might see in Europe, on the other hand, it is Mexico, and quite different!
