The PEREGRINE falcon...my totem, my symbol, archetype, companion and friend. From the Latin peregrinus, the word mean many things, as a noun it is one who crosses borders. The Peregrine Falcon is called such because of its incredible range (it is found almost everywhere on the planet). In myth, the peregrine falcon is associated with Horus (the sky God, son of Isis and Osiris) and is beholder of the iconic eyes of Horus as the eyes of Ra and Thoth (the sun and the moon) respectively.
