About the Project

We are not our past. Who we are is who we declare ourselvs to be. I AM, and I am declare that with God, all things are possible, much more than we think!

I am walking, from Los Angeles to Brazil, collecting prayers from random people I meet along the way, praying for their prayers, for your prayers, as I walk. I also take a photograph of the prayer, where you can see them here and offer your comments of experience and support. I also make an audio recording of the prayers, which I listen to on an mp3 player as I walk. When I am finished with the phyical, tangible, paper prayer, I deliver the prayer to another person down the road in exchange for a new prayer. Its as simple as that, from Los Angeles to Brazil.

The prayers are an opportunity, with optional anonymity, to move beyond the traditional divides of language, country, class, and creed, for you to speak to God directly, honestly. To be in conversation with God through your word. To take responsibility for where you have not been your word by being your word, and with your word, your promise, your potential, to make a new declaration for what is possible in your life. Much much more is possible than we think.

Walking is not so difficult. Therefore, the project has little to with walking, the man walking, little to do with Los Angeles, little to with Brazil, and much more to do with walking up to discover what is possible in life with a real connection to God.

This project is a demonstration, a documentary, an inquiry, in what it means to walk into the unknown with faith, taking small steps, crossing the borders of our thinking to access new realms of possibility through our declarative word. This project aims at practical spirituality, useful here, in our lives, on our path, where it makes a difference! The world changes when you change the way you think!
