Iamwalking celebrates 3000 miles (4,828.032 kilometers)

Here is a rough map of the route that I have followed, walking south. Though I did not take the time to physically type in each location, side pilgrimages to mountain shrines, churches, villages, etc. this more or less represents the path I have walked.

We will be approaching the 3000 mile mark this week. Glad you are along for the inquiring ride!

Now is your opportunity to go beyond just a casual, cusory, look at this project and connect to it in a real way. This project actually has nothing to do with walking, nothing to do with the distance, nothing really to do with LA or Brazil, and everything to do with you connecting to what is possible, taking steps in faith that make a difference in your life!

Here, now, I am asking you join me in taking a look at the places in your life where you have thought a situation, a relationship, an obstactle was ‘impossible’. The symbolism of this walk speaks that if a gringo can walk from LA to Brazil, then what else is possible with God for whom nothing is impossible? Broken ties with family, loved ones, work, worrying about the thoughts and opinions of others, fear, worry, doubt…Now is the time to change your view, your perspective, the way you think, to one not of false hope, but one where you know God always meets your needs, and then for YOU to take steps in accordance with your belief.
In our new declaration of what is possible, we have to also clear and take responsibility for the past. To be our word (promise>potential) where we have not, through our literal word, through your prayers…it is that simple.
Here below, you have the opportunity to write a prayer. To be back in communication with God, to clear the past, declaring what is possible in the future, always arriving in the moment, always taking the next step.  When I walk, I tell people that this project is fairly dangerous, at times. I do take risks. The only thing that I ask is that you do the  same, right here, right now, in your relationship, in your communication with God and others. When you write your prayer, you can say anything, absolutely anything, it is your prayer! The prayers are anonymous (unless you write a name in the body of the prayer) and are an opportunity for you to say, to write, what needs to be said, to declare what is possible, and to share this with another person.
The idea is that when you are honest and fully open in your relationship with God and your prayers, that it will open the hearts of others as well who visit the site and those that I meet on the road. Together we can go beyond the ordinary!
Thank you for sharing your heart, dreams, visions, YOU, below:
